Events

Superintendent Reiman will hold four coffee chats this fall: three in-person and one virtual for Spanish-speakers: 

• Thursday, October 23 - 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Uptown Coffee, 2020 NE Cornell Rd., Hillsboro
• Wednesday, October 29 - 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Starbucks, 7415 NE Imbrie Dr., Hillsboro
• Thursday, November 13 - 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Google Meet for Spanish-speakers. 
• Friday, December 5 - 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, 11125 NE Evergreen Parkway, Hillsboro. This chat will kick off the Hillsboro Schools Foundation’s Barnes & Noble Book Fair event, which will raise money to buy new library books for HSD schools. Superintendent Reiman will read a book to children afterward at 3 p.m.

These casual, no-host, drop-in events provide an opportunity for HSD constituents to meet with the Superintendent, learn more about important activities taking place in our schools, and ask any questions they may have. Please note that this is not the forum for sharing concerns about situations involving specific students - those will be referred to the principal, their supervisor, and/or other staff as appropriate to maintain student privacy.
